Ideal for supercharged or twin turbocharged applications in excess of 475 BHP and up to 700 BHP, the ScienceofSpeed Ultra-High Output Forced Induction Exhaust System allows for increased flow with minimal backpressure. 

Designed & manufactured by ScienceofSpeed - a 3" header-back exhaust system consists of two parts - the pre-muffler assemblies (track pipes or catalytic converters) and the muffler section. These pieces are joined by large 3" v-band flanges, so these parts can not be mixed with factory-style 3-bolt flanges.

The pre-muffler assemblies join to the turbocharger downpipes or headers with 1995-99 2-bolt flanges. For this reason, only certain turbocharger downpipes or headers are compatible:

Compatible Headers / Downpipes:

  • Any aftermarket header system designed for 1991-99 NSX with ball-socket type joints where the 2-bolt header flange is in the factory 1995-99 location.
  • ScienceofSpeed Advanced Headers for 1991-99 (1991-94 does not require the adapters, and the 1995-99 option can be selected).
  • Factory 1995-99 headers.
  • ScienceofSpeed Twin Turbocharger System downpipes (note: due to packaging constraints, the only pre-muffler assembly compatible is the track pipe option.
  • Not compatible: 2000-05 headers. Any turbocharger downpipe or header that does not place the 2-bolt header flange in the factory 1995-99 location.

The catalytic converters are EPA certified. The catalytic converters are not CARB certified and can not be used in the state of California. The system is designed to flow up 81 LB/MIN of airflow (approximately 700 HP). For applications less 475 horsepower, the ScienceofSpeed High Output Catalytic Converter Set is available.

This product is not designed or intended for pollution-controlled vehicles. In the United States, the use of this product is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency under the Clean Air Act. Use of this product must be used in accordance with the Clean Air Act, and any other Federal, State, or Local mandated regulations. The use of this product must only be used on a vehicle in sanctioned competition events and may not be used on public roads, streets, or highways. A Vehicle Compliance Waiver is required for all products marked "Racing Competition Only". ScienceofSpeed will send the waiver electronically once the order is placed.  The waiver must be filled out and signed before your order will process. This product replaces the factory ECU, so the factory OBD system is not longer functional.
