ScienceofSpeed Geomet Coated Brake Rotors - NSX, 1991-05

The ScienceofSpeed Geomet Coated Brake Rotors are a direct replacement for the factory rotors. Available for both 1991-96 and 1997-05 NSX factory brakes, these rotors feature a number of benefits:

• SAE G10H18 alloy: standardized alloy chosen for strength and durability.
• Heat treated: increases alloy uniformity for increased resistance to vibration from warping and cracking from heat cycles.
• Disc ground then Geomet coated: Disc grinding after heat treating ensures the flatness and parallelism between inner and outer surfaces. The Geomet finish offers superior moisture and salt-related corrosion resistance compared to standard zinc platings. The coating wears offer on swept area (where the brake pad contacts) leaving the unswept area resistant against corrosion.
• Dynamically balanced: balancing of the rotor resists vibration from imbalance.

Rotors are sold as pairs for the front or rear axle.
