After years of using the factory adjustment tool, ScienceofSpeed's technicians collaborated to produce this improved design.
The first improvement is a fluted head on the pin tool that improves grip with oily gloves - especially useful on the hard to reach rear cylinders on the NSX. The second improvement is a flared diameter pin that increases tolerance as the pin is installed into the socket, making the interface to the tappet adjuster tighter to improve precision.
The tool includes both the pin and socket tool, machined from chromoly 4130 steel with a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance.
